The EPIC Restart Foundation is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Leeds Beckett University and Carnegie Great Outdoors to create a new programme that supports people on their journey of recovery following gambling harm.
Our partnership kicks off this week with the first ‘+1% - Live the life you want’ weekend course at the inspirational National Sports Centre, Lilleshall.
Already fully booked, this course has been inspired by the highly impactful work that Leeds Beckett has delivered over the last ten years around recovery and resilience within the community of wounded, injured and sick members of the armed forces on their journey of recovery. EPIC Restart Foundation is working with Carnegie Great Outdoors’ expert team of coaches to develop a powerful new programme that improves confidence, builds resilience, and restores self-belief for those rebuilding their lives after gambling harm.
EPIC Restart Foundation and Leeds Beckett University are united in their shared belief that everyone who has suffered harm should be given the opportunity to make a positive recovery and restart their lives. This fantastic new partnership is another example of how the Foundation brings its lived experience of gambling harm to work with expert delivery partners in the design and delivery of innovative work that supports the journey of recovery for those rebuilding their lives after gambling harm.
